The NBA season tips off in just a few weeks, and we’re getting basketball fans ready for another great season of hoops! Here are some things to keep an eye on as the year gets underway.
For starters, there are many NBA teams with new faces on their rosters. Former MVP winners Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook have each found new homes in Brooklyn and Houston, respectively. Kyrie Irving also joined the Nets, while All-Stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have boarded the Los Angeles Clippers this offseason. However, the NBA isn’t the only place where you will see All-Star editions to the squad. Anduzzi’s has also added some superstars to the lineup, like the Monte Cristo, the BLT Tortellini, and the Chocolate Chipotle Pound Cake! And unlike those NBA stars, our menu stars won’t demand a trade to go play with LeBron…
Now, more than ever, it seems the NBA Western Conference will be an absolute gauntlet this season, with so many great teams and players jockeying for just 8 playoff spots. A reasonable argument could be made that 14 of the 15 teams out west have a shot to get to the postseason (sorry, Phoenix). But what about Anduzzi’s western stars? With amazing dishes like our Santa Fe Eggrolls, our California Turkey Wrap, and our Southwest Chicken Salad, it looks like there’s going to be a battle for top dog on our menu as well.
And has there ever been a more exciting time to be a Bucks fan? Milwaukee made the Eastern Conference finals last season for the first time since 2001, and returns most of the roster this season. The Bucks feature a veteran lineup that surrounds Giannis Antetokounmpo, the reigning MVP and potentially the future face of the NBA. If you run with the Bucks, Anduzzi’s is the perfect place to catch all the action. We’ll be carrying the Bucks games all season long, so be sure to stop in and Cheer the Deer!
Now I know what you’re thinking: what does a restaurant have to do with the National Basketball Association? Well, if you think about it, we’re a lot more alike than you might realize. We both feature exciting wings, we both live for buckets, and although ours is actually a good thing, both have double dribbling (All day on Sundays for us). And just like Steph Curry, we can heat up and catch fire with a wide variety of spicy options on our menu.
Well, maybe that’s a bit of a stretch. Regardless, even if we don’t have what it takes to make it in the NBA, we will have everything you need to enjoy all of the basketball action this season!
