This past June, members of the Green Bay and Fox Cities communities came together to participate in Anduzzi’s annual golf outing. The event allowed participants to spend some time on the links, but it also gave them the opportunity to give back to others in need. Now that we are a few months removed from the outing, we want to give you some insight into what exactly is being accomplished through those donations our community involvement campaigns.
Anduzzi’s has partnered with both the NEW Community Shelter in Green Bay and Homeless Connections in Appleton in order to best utilize the funds raised from the golf outing. Through the generosity of golf outing attendees, Anduzzi’s has been able to provide meals to members of each shelter on four different occasions. The number of meals served between these events is between 1000 and 1300.
Our most recent event, held just this past week, allowed us to feed 268 people over the course of the evening. The meal consisted of beef brisket sandwiches with baked beans, potato salad, pickle chips, and cookies. While that is just a drop in the bucket when it comes to Wisconsin’s homeless community (which consists of approximately 4,900 people*), we are proud to do our part for the less fortunate in our communities
We would like to thank everyone who participated and donated to our golf outing this year. Your contributions have already resulted in a meaningful impact in our community. We encourage everyone to join us once again next summer as we continue to do our part in giving back. If you have other community involvement opportunities for Anduzzi’s, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at contact@anduzzis.com!
