It seems that more and more food options these days feature avocados in them. And Anduzzi’s is no exception. We have SEVEN different menu items where you can find avocado as part of the dish. Is that because avocado have good fats that help lower cholesterol? Or is it because avocados are a good source of vitamins A, B6, E, and K? Or is it because avocados just taste really good? Whatever the reason, there are plenty of ways to get fresh avocado on your plate at Anduzzi’s. Check out all of your avocado options at Anduzzi’s below:
Our first menu item with Avocado is a blend of foods that are either soothing or spicy. With ingredients like southwest seasoned chicken breast, black beans, red pepper, and pepper jack cheese, the salad utilizes avocado to help keep things cool.
Our Turkey Bacon Burger uses avocado to provide an added layer of creaminess to the sandwich. The avocado and garlic aioli provides a perfectly smooth contrast to the real meat of the entrée (literally), which is the turkey patty and the double smoked bacon.
Another sandwich featuring avocado, the Cuervo Chicken sandwich is another menu item that balances spicy and soothing well. The sandwich features both pepper jack cheese and poblano pico de gallo, which on its own, might have too much of a kick. But the addition of avocado keeps things cool, and what is left is a delicious and nutritious choice for lunch or dinner.
Another great thing about avocados is that they go perfectly in wraps. They are soft enough to shift inside a rolled-up tortilla without breaking through the wrap or causing a mess. Our first example of this is the Santa Fe Wrap. This wrap shares many of the same spicy ingredients as the Southwest Chicken Salad, such as chipotle chicken, black beans, and red peppers. Once again, the avocado makes the wrap creamier and helps keep the consumer cool while enjoying their wrap.
The second wrap option with avocado is the California Turkey wrap. In addition to the green superfruit, this wrap contains turkey, double smoked bacon, fresh greens, red onion and tomato. There is nothing for the avocado to cool down in this entrée, so instead it is simply added for the extra flavor it provides to the wrap as a whole.
It’s bowl season, and both of our grain bowls feature…you guessed it, avocado. The Ahi Tuna Grain Bowl also has seared ahi tuna, kale, shredded carrot, radish, and green onion. These ingredients combined together create a flavorful meal that will fill you up and provide you with the right kind of fuel that your body needs.
I mean, come on, it’s the Vegan Super Grain Bowl. That’s just a series of healthy food buzzwords. You read the name one time and you know that it is one of the healthier options on the Anduzzi’s menu, or any menu for that matter. The VSGB features fire roasted vegetables, seasoned chick peas, red cabbage, cherry tomato medley and cilantro layered over an exotic quinoa grain blend served with a roasted red pepper sauce. The final ingredient? AVOCADO (seriously, it’s the theme of this whole post).
